Story

We are a Wheels for all Centre in Eastbourne delivering this cycling initiative which is a nationally recognised programme. It embraces all children and adults with disabilities and differing needs, to engage in a quality cycling activity. By using specially adapted cycles, the activities are both physically and mentally stimulating and above all fun for everyone involved.

Our centre is equipped with specially adapted cycles and Wheels for All trained leaders and volunteers, who have the knowledge and confidence to work with adapted cycles for participants to enjoy the benefits of cycling. The centres welcome individuals, groups and families to be involved.

No matter the mobility issues, adapted cycling offers something for everyone and is bags of fun.

Since all the horrendous lockdowns our wheels for all sessions have managed to grow, and now we are at a point where we really need more specialised adapted bikes, like 2 seater trikes and wheelchair transporters. These types of adapted bikes are extremely expensive, so we are holding a fund raising event on Sunday 19th September 2021. The team, riders, their families, friends and support staff are invited to ride 30 laps of our 400m track between 9am and 9pm. 30 laps is in recognition of the 30th anniversary of the inclusive cycling charity Cycling Projects, who helped set us up and we have been working alongside for the last 6 plus years.

Please support us in our adventure to try and help others in there cycling adventures with us.
