Don't have time to donate right now?

Eastbourne HG Aerospace Eagles would like to officially launch our "Air Fence Funding Project".

We all know and have seen the positive impact that Air Fences have had on Speedway Racing globally in the past few decades. The Air Fence has revolutionised the Sport, made it safer and cut down the risks involved in what is and remains a dangerous high Octane Sport. How often have we seen a bad crash into an Air Fence and thought "they would not have walked away from that 30 years ago".

It is a fundamental requirement for each SCB/BSPL Licensed Track to have an Approved and Modern Air fence and these are inspected at every Meeting by the Match Referee, annually via a Track Inspection and every 3 years when the ACU/SCB Homologation Certificate is issued. We had our 3 year Inspection prior to the recent Meeting v Edinburgh and following that Inspection the resulting Report confirmed what we already knew and have been preparing towards for a while now, which is we will require a completely NEW Air Fence for the 2022 season in order to be certified to continue Speedway at Arlington.

In the past 7 months via the 50/50 Draw we have raised £3500 towards the anticipated Cost of between £20,000 - £25,000 to undertake this "generational investment" which is vital to the Health and Safety of not only all Speedway Riders participating at Arlington, but also Officials, Track Staff and Supporters.

Every donation will be gratefully received and every pound will help us reach our target. Everyone who contributes will automatically be added to a 'NameBanner' which will cover a part of the Airfence for 2022. If would like a specific name added to the 'NameBanner' please put this in the comments when donating. All £50+ donations will have the option of having a picture on a 'FaceBanner' for 2022. If not yourself, why not buy as a gift for a family member or friend. Once donations are received, pictures can be emailed to . If you'd like to have a full airbag and have a large message, image, business or company logo, please email

If you have any questions or would like more information on the air fence fund, donation amounts or options, please email

Following the completion of the 2022 season all banners will remain on view within the stadium at Arlington as recognition and thanks for everyone's support.
