Story
For 15 years East London Textile Arts has run free weekly textile classes for the local community without fail. This winter we have no more money and unless we can raise £800 our doors will close in January and February 2024 just at the time of year when coming to a known warm safe space is most needed. More than ever local people need to be organising creative activities for communities as council classes and facilities are cut due to lack of money. Please do not let this opportunity pass and contribute to our fund.

Elta has given me so much joy and I’m incredibly grateful. It is such a creative and welcoming environment for so many people. The work produced is beautiful. It is so important it can continue.
