I've raised £3000 to support Blood Cancer UK, Young Lives v Cancer & Fisher House UK

In 2001, a tradition began in the East Neuk that has continued for over 20 years - the annual 'East Neuk Dook'. This year, on December 31st (Hogmanay) at 1300, we are celebrating our 20th 'DOOK' and will be once again jumping into the freezing cold waters of Anstruther Harbour to raise funds for three incredible charities: Blood Cancer UK, Young Lives v Cancer, and Fisher House UK. This year will see the introduction of the East Neuk DIP, for those who would still like to get wet, but would prefer to keep their hair dry. This is a cold water DIP Challenge. Participants will wade into the freezing waters of the North Sea from the beach area and if possible will submerge their bodies to shoulder height. 🥶
Last November, my daughter Jessica was diagnosed with Leukaemia, and it's been a challenging journey. Thankfully, with the care and support received, she has turned a corner and is currently living her best life whilst still recovering from the effects of her treatment. That is why we are reaching out to you for help in raising funds for these 3 amazing charities. Cancer can affect anyone at any time, and your contribution will make a huge difference. Donating through JustGiving is secure and efficient. Your generosity will directly benefit these causes.
