I've raised £250 to put on 'Easy on the Dijon' an acid house night in aid of Mustard Tree Homeless Charity

Having raised £1100+ for Manchester Mind with ArtBox and PostBox , Funraising is back. We're hoping to go one better in order to make an even bigger difference. This time we're putting on an acid house night for Mustard Tree.
Mustard Tree is a charity that
works to combat poverty and prevents homelessness in Greater Manchester.
Due to this fantastic local charity's great name, a night in aid of Mustard Tree can only be rivalled with a name just as good, so we've gone for 'Easy on the Dijon'. (because of the word mustard)
As I'm sure you're all aware, homelessness is a huge and ever-continuing issue, especially in Greater Manchester. The fact that this charity is local means that any donated money has an impact where it's most needed.
We think that Mustard Tree is one of the most important and effective organisations in Manchester, and we really want to help.
In tribute to Manchester, we want to bring everyone a night of quality and diverse acid house music. We're bringing in both known and underground talent who have chosen one-off aliases such as DJion and Colonel Mustard.
Nightlife has found itself under attack from the authorities recently for no good reason. (See Mantra Warehouse's story here ). Both acid house music and clubbing are a part of Manchester's close history and both elements connect people. That's why we've chosen an acid house night to fundraise for Mustard Tree.
As was the case with ArtBox, we need a little bit of help. Even though we've got most of our amazing DJs on board, Even for fundraisers, venue-hire can be expensive and, as we found out with our last events, promotion is essential to success, so we kind of want to be able to afford flyers and posters, (and if we can, maybe a raffle).
Plus, we would preferably like to decorate Easy on the Dijon to the nines to set it apart from any other experience and make it really good. We might be getting some help from our old ArtBox friends, but again, this costs.
What you put in effort-wise, is what you get out fundraising-wise.
Easy on the Dijon is part of our platform's project to encourage more artists, creatives and talent to get involved with charity.
If you help us out on this one, not only will we repay you with the opportunity to properly party with a purpose, but the Funraising name will be another notch more established, and therefore a step closer to becoming a sustainable business so that we can push for more creative charity and a brighter world.
