Our Mission:

Complete our biggest charity event yet

11am Sat 14th June - 11am Sun 15th June

24 Hours. 100km. £5000 raised

12 x 8.25km. Loops. 1 Mission. %,

Our team is taking on the relentless challenge of running/walking an 8.35km loop every 2 hours for 24 hours, totalling just over 100km - all to raise £5,000 for two life-saving defibrillators and 3 other charities close to our hearts.

Why?

Because sudden cardiac arrest can strike anyone, anywhere - even during a workout.

Immediate access to a defibrillator can increase survival rates by up to 70%. Without one, chances drop by 10% every minute that passes.

Having defibs with trained staff on site will also be a huge addition to our local community.

The extra funds raised will be evenly split between some very worthy causes that do fantastic work locally.

Jolly Josh - based in Castleton they welcome children and young adults aged 0-19 who live with complex medical needs and physical disabilities. “We are not just a Centre; we are a haven of safety, support, and inclusivity”

Bridge The Gap (BTG) - “Our mission is to Bridge The Gap faced by people trying to access support for their mental health. We champion a blended approach of exercise sessions and talking therapy as first-line treatment for early-stage mental ill-health and we strive for this to be accessible to all, at the point of need”

Parkinson's uk - The charity that’s here to support every Parkinson’s journey, every step of the way. Wherever you’re from, whatever you need. We don’t wait for change, we make it happen. We believe that together we’ll find a cure. But that’s not all we’re working for. We campaign for better health and care, fund research into groundbreaking new treatments, and run life-changing support services.

Families, volunteers, campaigners, fundraisers, scientists, health and care workers. We’re a powerful community united by one mission: improving life with Parkinson’s.
