Easington District Angling Society are trying to raise money to cover the haulage cost of a shipping container. The container will be used to store low cost materails and hand tools used to help with the upkeep and maintenance of the lake and surrounding area. The container will allow club members volenteers access to essential tools and materials onsite to be used during organised work parties.

Since the end of 2017 volenteers and club members have been working hard to improve the lake and surrounding area, so far we‘ve made improvements to pathways, and access, removed trailers full of litter, improved fishing pegs and the pond itself, helped local wildlife and birds and are generally trying to improve the area. We are hoping the purchase of a container will give us a much needed base to do this.

any additional funding to the £250 we are trying to raise will go towards the price of the container freeing up more of the money we have to spend directly on the pond
