What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Story
In July 2017 I will be going to Morocco as part of a team from World Challenge I will be going for 2 weeks. For one week I will be helping out within a school, teaching and building/fixing facilities. For the second week I will be hiking in the Atlas mountains, staying in tents along the way.
The aim of World Challenge is that the students organise many aspects of the trip ourselves including fund raising.
Fundraising to date has included a Colour Rad run, a cake bake sale and wages from weekend work. I am planning a prosecco and cake evening, more cake bakes and other fundraising activites.
I would be very grateful for any donations at all! Even £1.00 to help me on my way would be great!
