Story
Croft Dean Care Home is the home that I go to for my respite. Based in Wallsend, they provide a range of services but also provide nursing or personal care for people with dementia
Having just recently been diagnosed with Vascular Dementia I envisage spending a lot more time there in the future so with that in mind I’ve decided to do another crazy stunt to raise some money to buy a TV for the dementia ward
In case you didn’t know I suffer from Crohn's disease, epilepsy, rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis. However, none of these deter me and I have a hand crank trike which I intend to use to ride 50 miles over 2 days
I’ll be doing this on 1st and 2nd December (crazy I know!) and I’m determined that nothing will stop me – hail, rain or snow! You are more than welcome to join me on my journey – I’ll be doing around 25 miles on each of the days and would love some company :)
My aim is to raise £550 and your sponsorship to help me achieve this would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance - Carrie
