Story
We're raising money to support the production and distribution of a children's book to be given to specialist paediatric cancer wards in the UK.
The book is aimed at providing support to families whose young children are facing a battle with cancer and losing their hair, framing the story as an empowering tale where they are the hero.
I wrote the story while we were facing this exact situation with our three year old daughter Edie. She was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of primary bone cancer in July 2025 and when the realities of the treatment hit quickly, I couldn't find anything to help in her age group.
Edie is now in remission, and while life feels changed forever, we're beyond grateful that she came through everything with such immense positivity and bravery. Each new day with her is a gift that we make sure to cherish, even in the hurly burly of young family life!
The monies raised will be used for the book production and distribution, as well as support two fantastic London hospitals St. Georges and The Royal Marsden who we owe a lifetime of gratitude to.
Thank you much for any support you can offer.
