Story
LES BAILEY MEMORIAL RIDE 2024
This year our annual fundraising bike ride in memory of Les Bailey will take place on Sunday 23rd June. Les was a founder member of Edmonton Cycle Club in 1996 and made a huge ongoing contribution until his sad passing in 2021.
The first £250 of the money raised will be used to cover our club costs for the year with the remainder being donated to NORTH LONDON HOSPICE.
Last year we were able to donate £740 to NORTH LONDON HOSPICE and it will be great if we can raise even more this year. Hospices are desperately short of funding at the moment so let’s raise as much as we can. The pictures above are from last year’s ride.
On 23rd June 2024 a team of riders from Edmonton Cycle Club will undertake a 50 mile ride through the Hertfordshire countryside starting and finishing at the Little Green Dragon MicroPub in Palmers Green. Thank you to everyone who is able to support us.

Edmonton Cycle Club prides itself on providing cycling activities for the local community free of charge. Cyclists of all ages and abilities are welcome to join us. We have limited costs but do need to raise £250 to cover the maintenance of our website, insurance cover for our ride leaders and the cost of our quarterly newsletters.
