Sadly, on the 29th of April 2024 we lost an incredible person to suicide, a dedicated young farmer within our area. The family have had the most dreadful 2 years with their father committing suicide two years prior to the loss of our dear friend Edward Martin. As everyone within the farming community is well aware, there is a major mental health crisis which needs to be addressed. Sitting within a tractor, milking parlour or a field for hours on end in your own thoughts, all alone has a massive impact on so many of us. Alongside this is an important reminder that our actions can affect others deeply and if you can be anything, be KIND.

On the 1st September 2024, we are holding a tractor run with a bar, bbq and music after in aid of a few charties which are close to our hearts these are:

This event is going to be held at:

Alkerton Green Farm, Eastington, Gloucestershire, GL10 3AQ

Arrival from 10:00AM with the aim to begin the planned route at 11:00AM. After the route is completed the BBQ, Bar and music will go on until late.

This is for any vehicle whether that be a tractor, lorry, car or motorbike to be ridden round a planned route in support of our chosen charities which have had a huge influence on the family.

After the tractor run we will return to the farm to a BBQ and bar. The bar is very kindly being sponsored by Hawstone and the BBQ is sponsored by Portway Farmshop.

The Admission fee is:

£10 per tractor/ vehicle

£5 per passenger

Familys are very welcome to attend the event after the tractor run as a flat fee of £10.

Camping will be available on site however pitches need to be booked prior to the event to ensure we leave enough space. £5 per pitch
