The Eddie’s Street Cuts Mission
Eddie’s Street Cuts is a community outreach project founded in the UK with a simple but powerful purpose: restoring dignity and hope to people experiencing homelessness through the power of a haircut.
Now, the mission is expanding across the Atlantic.
Coast-to-coast message of hope cycling challenge from New York City to Los Angeles, raising awareness for homelessness while inspiring the hairdressing community to give back.
At every major stop along the route, we will partner with local charities and gather volunteer hairdressers to provide free haircuts to people living on the streets. These pop-up outreach events will create moments of connection, confidence, and dignity for those who are often invisible society.
the goal is to bring together professional stylists in each city to take part in these events—turning each stop into a powerful act of community service.
But this journey is about more than haircuts.
This challenge is deeply personal.
As someone in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction, this ride represents my own road to recovery and a commitment to giving back. Through Eddie’s Street Cuts, I’ve seen how something as simple as a haircut can restore confidence, dignity, and human connection. Now the aim is to take that message across America and inspire others in the industry to do the same.
The long-term vision is to leave behind a legacy in every city:
a network of hairdressers connected to local homeless charities who continue offering free haircuts and support long after the ride has passed through with a step by step package of how to set up Eddie's Street cuts so they can carry on the legacy and make a positive difference within their own communities.
This mission is about turning compassion into action.
Together, we can create a movement where the hair industry gives back to the communities that need it most.
One ride.
One mission.
One haircut at a time.
