What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

As my initial fundraiser, I‘m kayaking from Liverpool (Preston Brook) to London (Putney Bridge), inland of 280 miles. Using the canals and river Thames, with a small support team, 17th to 30th August 2021. The memorial is to be built at the National Memorial Arboretum (NMA).

I have served 26 yrs in the Army and lost too many friends to suicide. I want to remember them in the same way that if they had died during their service, with a memorial.
