I've raised £1500 to remember a wonderful husband, father, brother and friend in Edward (Ted) Jennings who died on 30th January 2021, aged 63 from COVID-19.

On Saturday 30th January 2021, a wonderful husband, father, brother, son & friend to many was lost due to COVID-19.
Edward (Ted) Jennings - born 2nd September 1957 - has been taken too early from us and although a shock to many due to the nature of how quickly his passing came about, Ted lived a wonderful life surrounded by those who loved him most.
A devoted husband to his wife (Carol) and father to 2 children (Matthew & Amy-Louise) he had a an extremely warm demeanour about him and carried himself in all forms of his life with dignity and class.
Ted was a tremendously hard-working individual, having given many years of service in a variety of different roles - mainly delivery driving for large depots and courier companies - his loss has been felt by all who knew him.
To celebrate his wonderful life, his family have setup this JustGiving page as a way of enabling all of his friends/family and work associates over the years to help us attain a target of £1,500 which we would like to use as a way of setting up 2x commemorative benches in his honour as a way of creating a piece of love that many can have the enjoyment and use of for years to come!
Outside of this, we would then wish to donate all other remaining funds to the ITU (Intensive Treatment Unit) at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage, Hertfordshire as a way of thanks for all of their fantastic efforts in supporting Ted during his time in the Lister Hospital prior to his death and for all they continue to do in looking after patients day-in, day-out.
We are extremely fortunate to have the NHS in the UK and this is a small way of being able to show our thanks to them for the work they continue to do to keep our wonderful country moving!
On behalf of all of Ted's family, we thank you for all donations that are received, it is so comforting to us all to know how well respected and loved he was as an individual.
