Story

Hello my name is Edward and I am 9 years old. After seeing captain Tom on the news walk and raise money for the nhs, I have been inspired to raise money for New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton, the Neonatal Unit.

my sister Freya was born in November, 14 weeks early weighing 1.12oz. After 14 weeks of the nurses and doctors looking after her, she was finally allowed home. Freya is still on oxygen at home and tube fed but is now 5.5 months old and doing well.

I have decided I want to raise money for The unit as they saved her life. I have set myself a challenge that once the covid-19 pandemic is over, i am going to travel 50miles over a 7 day period. I will do this by walking or riding my bike. To cover it in a week i need to do at least 7miles per day.

I havent set a date of the week im completing this yet but would like to get sponsors and donations started. Anything woukd be very much appriciated as I want to show my own personal thanks to the hospital and came up with the challenge myself.

my mum will update the page with an ained date of completion.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
