Salam everyone, I hope everyone is doing well back home miss you all :))) I’m currently working as a student doctor in Tanzania (East Africa) for the summer and wanted to ask if anyone is willing to donate as it’s a great opportunity to help seen as I will be carrying out the work myself. I have been working at a hospital called meru District Hospital in Tengeru which unfortunately does not have the resources and lacks in almost every department for basic items such as gloves, hand sanitisers, medical equipment and pharmaceuticals. This placement has been really eye opening and I’m truly beginning to understand how lucky and privileged we really are and how it’s our duty to help those less privileged then us. The different wards have provided us with a list of equipment they desperately need so your donations will be going towards these items in addition to me going out myself and buying basic items such as pieces of clothing/blankets for the women and babies in Labour and basic healthcare necessities like nappies. I hope you all use this opportunity whilst I’m here to donate and reach out to our brothers and sisters in Africa.
