    Story

    EGG BOX THEATRE

We are a female led company based in Lincoln who are passionate about giving children and their families an open and exciting first experience of theatre, and supporting early career artists with opportunities to develop their own practice.

We are fundraising to bring to life our new show, Nested an immersive theatre experience for 2-5 year olds and their families.

We strive to make our work inclusive and will create an accessible performance for young people with profound and multiple learning difficulties. This funding will enable us to work with a disabled artist during this project to ensure our work truly represents all children. It will also support us to include in our touring schedule working with communities in areas around each venue that have difficulty accessing traditional theatre due to transport, finance or other barriers.

    Testimonial

I just want you to know that the experience you gave [my child] today was faultless. You performed with such energy and enthusiasm, and not once did I feel at all inhibited by [her] disability. And she certainly didn't! You kept her entertained and enthralled for an hour which is no small feat! Keep up the good work. You're inspirational.”

    Our Previous Work

As part of our fundraising throughout April and May 2020 we are delivering a free video series about "Making Magic at Home". We hope you enjoy these videos and consider supporting us to spread magic to other families.

Loved watching 'igloo', it was creative, full of inspiration, funny, sad and empathetic. All of those things that small children need( not forgetting we adults!) The sensory content was superb.
