    Story

Eglwys y Grog at Mwnt was recently badly vandalised by individuals and already some donations are being offered to the church trustees. This page has been setup to help with the generosity shown not only by those locally but from all parts of the UK and beyond. The money will go towards the repairs needed to get this iconic church back to its previous condition.

The Police investigations are ongoing, options such as CCTV and smart technologies are being considered. Media coverage aided our cause and we hope that once the work is completed on the church we will be able update everyone.

In just one month with your generosity we have received well over the £20,000 target. The likely end figure after JustGiving fees will be more likely in the region of £30,000, so once again thank you. In addition , a number of people have sent donation by post and in person, all these have been recorded by the church treasurer. I would also like to thank those that have been in contact to offer skilled support, these are being worked through by the church wardens and vicar. Thank you Dyfed Powys Police o providing advice on security (picture)

We were really saddened to hear about the damage to the church. It's somewhere we love to visit when we are in Ceredigeon. We hope it can be successfully restored.
