Run. Walk. Crawl. Repeat. | The Egton Cliff Challenge
Sunday • 22nd June 2025 • 7am to 7pm
What do you get when you mix enthusiastic locals, a steep hill, and 12 hours of sweat, snacks, and stubbornness?
You get the Egton Cliff Challengers—your friendly neighbourhood hill climbers running/walking/crawling up and down Egton Cliff (from opposite The Postgate pub to opposite The Wheatsheaf pub) ALL. DAY. LONG.
Why are we doing this, you ask? Well, for two brilliant reasons:
*To raise money for the essential work of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
*To help refurbish our church bells at St. Hilda’s Church, Egton —they’ve earned a little TLC
This is not your average charity walk. It’s a leg-burning, calf-screaming, “what-were-we-thinking?” sort of mission for our challengers, (well most of them). But it’s powered by love for our community—and by people like you.
💛 Support us, laugh with us (or at us), and donate whatever you can.
Every pound raised goes straight to the causes—no middlemen, no nonsense.
