    Story

Equine Headshaking Awareness is dedicated to providing accurate, up to date information on headshaking in horses and to dispel the myths that surround this disorder.

Our long term goal is to achieve charitable status and raise funds to support and advance research into headshaking.

Any left over funds after our costs will either be put towards further development of the website (there is a lot to do and we made need professionals to help) or donated to one of the Universities that are currently researching headshaking.

        Northumberland, UK

This project was initially developed as part of my degree but it is a subject very close to my heart after losing my pony Teddy to headshaking two years ago. There is a lack of awareness in the UK and many people still believe it to be a behavioural issue.
