    Story

We started out by working for the rehabilitation of destitutes and beggars. We conducted several drives across the city to understand the challenges that confront those who live under such strenuous circumstances. Following this, we started setting up one-on-one sessions with young children, forced into begging and their parents with the hope of replacing the begging bowls in their hands with books. We continue to put efforts in this direction. Our team has successfully conducted multiple sessions with child beggars and their families across the city. We recently gave this project a new character and have named it ‘SAKSHAM’. Under this project we hope to transform the lives of young underprivileged children/ child beggars by providing them access to quality education. Our first live project under ‘Saksham’ is at a village roughly 36 kms off Lucknow where we are setting up a classroom that will connect the native children virtually to educators who will impart them with quality English training. This is a one-of-a kind initiative that will empower a generation of future thinkers, innovators and leaders and provide them with an impeccable opportunity to upskill themselves from the comfort of their homes. We hope to add some meaning and value to the lives of these young superstars and enable them to become independent communicators, problem solvers and torchbearers in their respective communities and most importantly. Finally, we genuinely hope that this online English language training empowers them to connect with the world at large, confidently and independently.
