Story
Nepal is a remote, mountainous country in Central Asia. In 2015 an earthquake devastated this small, developing nation, which resulted in severe damage to the nation's infrastructure. Families were torn apart and many people lost their lives. In autumn, 2019, I will join a small team of young people with Global Action to visit Nepal to assist with the ongoing recovery work. The expedition will be a great way to develop new skills and make new friends on the other side of the world.

6 years agoI have been being sponsored to climb the height of Everest in order to raise funds to go out and work with charities in Nepal. These include the Gurkha Welfare Trust, Practical Action, ICIMOD, Annapurna Conservation Area Project, and the Kopan Buddhist Monastery. So far I have climbed 6966m so only 1882m to go - two munros! Thank you so much for your support!
