Dear Friends

As you are aware I have recently undergone a major heart operation and whilst I was in hospital Elaine stayed in Heartbeat House, a charity based place to stay with people who are going through the same problems. Without their help and kindness the whole thing would have been a lot more stressful for both of us.

As a way of saying thank you I would like to do a fundraising walk from PYC to the Crab and Lobster across Pagham Harbour on Sat 23rd Sept. The route we have planned is approx 10km which I have checked with the hospital is ok and a big deal to me.

We intend to leave PYC at 10 a.m after a bacon or sausage roll and return to a Scottish themed afternoon with haggis pie and a whisky sauce to watch the Ayr Gold Cup on t.v.. price to be confirmed depending on who wants oysters Or king prawns...there will also be a cheeseboard. Raffle and auction planned. Anyone who feels able to sponsor and or join me... it would mean a great deal. You can join us for the walk, one way or both ways, or you can join us for lunch at PYC, or do it all!
