Nev has played Bowls at Thurmaston Bowls Club for many years. Now Nev is finding that his mobility is limited and a wheelchair that can be used on the green would enable him to continue playing a sport he loves with confidence and safely.

We at Thurmaston Bowls Club endevour to be encouraging and inclusive to all, hence this fundraising event.

We are going to hold a 24 hour Bowlathon on August 1st and August 2nd 9 am til 9 am.

This event is open to excisting Bowlers and non Bowlers too. The more the merrier.

We want to make this day fun as well as productive. some of us will be in fancy dress and 2 of our men are going to have their hair dyed pink.

We might even get the Thurmaston Ukulenny Band there too.
