Story

Billy Lardner, a much loved family friend, was a funny, friendly, sociable, loving, caring, happy 16 year old boy who was loving life. He had his whole future ahead of him but sadly died on 30th June 2023 when his life was unfairly and unjustly taken away from him. Leaving behind devastated family and friends who now want to create a lasting legacy in his name.

This fund was set up to raise money for good causes in Billy’s Memory - to leave a legacy.

The funds raised will be used to support young people to access sports, activities and other help that they may need. It may be used to support those with greater financial needs or just to provide trips for groups of children - for eg. cubs going to a pantomime.

Many local causes have already benefited from the fund which have included support for young people starting college/university with start up packs, donating entry fees to a youth sports group for national competitions and some wonderful acts of kindness throughout last December.

There is also a school in Cambodia being supported with donations of computers and 2 children have been given the opportunity to learn English.

This legacy means so much to so many and if you could make a small (or large) donation it will make a big difference to those who would otherwise miss out .
