My dear sister died suddenly and unexpectedly last July, she was only 56. I was in Spain on holiday when I heard the devastating news. She left behind a son and his partner and 2 grandchildren whom she adored. Her husband, Paul, was also devastated and has struggled to return to full time employment since. Hence the appeal as he is unable to fund the headstone himself and I can’t bear to think of my sister in an unmarked grave - she was beautiful, generous to a fault, vulnerable and flawed and I loved her dearly. She was my sister and my friend and I miss her very much. Many people said at her funeral that they would like to donate to a chosen charity rather than send flowers, here’s your chance, please help us remember her with love.
