On Monday the 1st of January our lovely friend Elaines life changed forever.

She was rushed to hospital after suffering a bad cough which caused her throat to swell. After arriving at hospital she was found to be very ill and had fluid in her lungs. She was sedated and put on a ventilator to help her body fight this infection. While she was in intensive care unbelievably her partner Jim took ill and sadly on Friday the 5th of january he passed away. Her mum Margo was looking after their two children Natasha and Lucas-james. As if this wasnt bad enough Margo also took ill and on Monday the 8th of January her wonderful mum also passed away.

Elaine has only just been strong enough to be told the devastating news that both her partner and mum had died all while she herself was fighting for her life.

We her friends need to do something to help and we have decided to set up this page so when she comes out of hospital money is one less thing to worry about. Elaine had moved to Sunderland to be near her mum and give her kids a great life. She has an uphill struggle physically and emotionally and we just want to do something that helps in any way to make life a little easier and hopefully you can donate too, no matter how big or small your donation we know it will help Elaine and her children xxx
