Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
I'm cycling 30 miles to fund 30 hours of teaching in Kampala, Uganda. This is part of Afridaca, an ongoing project at Darwen Aldridge Community Academy in partnership with Link International.
As a team and as individuals we'll be doing a range of other fundraising activities.

About the fundraiser
Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
The Acholi tribe was displaced from their home in the north during the war in the 90s and now live as a community in Kampala's slums. We'll be teaching kids with varying ages andlevels of education, from no schooling to limited education from school or previous Afridaca trips.
