I'm a six form student at Blessed Thomas Holford Catholic College and next July a group of us will be taking a party of sick, disabled and elderly people who are going to Lourdes for the annual pilgrimage. Whilst we are there we will became their companions and full-time carers which will involve our time and dedication to give them the best experience possible. From feedback on other trips it has been proved that this brings a feeling of well-being to all involved which i'm sure will be the case in our party. This is a new opportunity for me as I've never done anything like this before but i'm comfident that i will be good at it as i love a good chat. For each person to go it would cost £500, however by raising some money the cost would be reduced and donations are warmly welcomed, thanks again!
