I've raised £250 to help raise money for the Fishing for Schools charity

The 2 mighty chalkstreams of the world are releasing the force of their riverkeepers for 1 day only for a unique charity football match. These fine specimens have never all been seen together in 1 place (except the pub) and they are doing it for one reason...the amazing charity....Fishing for Schools. The game will be 30 mins each way and expect the rule lacking football match to be filled with lots of fun but also have some old deep set rivalries to be settled..... !!!! It's a match not to be missed...... please come and support the match at the River Park Leisure Centre on Sunday 4th Nov at 14:30.
Fishing for Schools started in 2008 and offers young people the opportunity to discover the joy of fishing, whilst learning new skills in a fun and proactive way.It is delivered by the Countryside Alliance Foundation and world famous angler Charles Jardine, and to date over 2,000 students have benefited from Fishing 4 Schools. The charity helps pupils re-engage with education, building their confidence and self-esteem, while at the same time assisting with new qualifications and skills.
Without children and young adults getting into fishing there will be no future for this hugely popular sport......please dig deep people......
