Hi, my name is Elizabeth and I'm an eighteen year old student. I would love to travel the world and volunteer in different places. I have loved elephants from a young age. I have always wanted to volunteer abroad so I decided I could do this by going to Thailand and helping out in an elephant conservation.
Most of the elephants at this conservation are injured, sick or elderly and have been relocated here so they can be cared for and given a better quality of life. I will be helping to make sure they are living in a happy and safe environment.
Elephants are still used as 'animal slaves' in Thailand and in many cases this can lead to cruelty and abuse. However, at this conservation the elephants are free to roam around safely. I believe that I can go and help to make a difference but to be able to do this I need to raise some money. Anything donated will be appreciated so much, thankyou.
