I’m raising £3,000 to support the launch and growth of Elevate GL, a new community initiative focused on creating inclusive, accessible spaces for young people, families and local residents.

Elevate GL aims to become a welcoming community hub where people can connect, learn and feel supported. Our goal is to provide practical youth workshops (including CV writing and confidence-building sessions), creative activities, community events and support initiatives such as book swaps, food and clothing donation drives, and coffee mornings for parents and older residents.

Our first event is a free Easter Family Fun Day taking place in North London, designed to bring families together in a safe, positive and accessible environment. Funds raised will help cover venue hire, activity materials, equipment, and allow us to expand future programmes for young people and families who may not otherwise have access to these opportunities.

This is just the beginning. Elevate GL is about building something sustainable, a space that reduces isolation, supports development and strengthens community connection.
