Story

🌿 Walking for Elijah: Raising Awareness and Support in the Face of Baby Loss 🕊️

On the 3rd of May, our beautiful baby boy Elijah was born sleeping. The pain of losing our son is indescribable — a heartbreak no parent should have to endure.

But through the darkness, we were shown compassion and care that helped us create precious memories with Elijah that we will cherish forever. This was made possible thanks to the incredible midwives at The Grange Hospital and charities like 4Louis and Remember My Baby, who provide essential support during unimaginable moments like ours.

We are now raising money in Elijah’s name — to give back to these organisations, and to raise awareness around miscarriage and baby loss, something that happens far more often than many realise.

Our fundraising will support:

- 4Louis, Remember My Baby, SANDS, and Tommy’s — all of whom do vital work supporting grieving families.

- The Grange Hospital’s Labour Ward, helping provide essential items like sanitary products, baby clothing, blankets, and memory-making resources that are often needed but not routinely provided.

To honour Elijah and help other families, we are taking on a series of charity challenges:

🥾21st June – A 31-mile coastal walk from Cardiff Bay to Barry Island and back

⛰️September (Date TBC) - A 24-hour Pen y Fan challenge

❄️January 2026 - Matt will be partaking in the Winter Fan Dance Challenge

This is for Elijah, for all the babies gone too soon, and for every family walking this painful path. Please help us raise awareness, offer support, and do something positive in Elijah’s memory.

Thank you for walking with us💙
