Story
I am very honoured to have been selected as a member the Somerset Scout Contingent for the World Scout Jamboree in America 2019. Although a real privilege, it is going to cost me £3,995 to go, (including all the training camps and activities before hand). I am hoping to do a number of fundraising events and work hard to raise funds myself, but I also need your help to make this dream come true.
Part of the fundraising challenge will be to run a West Coker Marathon in May 2018. I want to do something that will be a challenge and worthy of people making a donation. I have designed a 2 miles course that I intend running/walking 13 times throughout the day. Training has already started.

Six day countdown to the marathon for my WSJ funds so far doing good but I know I can fundraise even more thank you to everyone who has supported me with money and motivation so far! Hope to see you in six days @ West Coker recreation ground where there will be a coffee morning from 9am! if anyone would like to run/walk a part of the marathon with me please contact me or my family on facebook @James Divall and @Becky Divall. 6 years agoTraining today (this is my rest gap) completed 6 miles so far but going for 20 miles today (10 laps in total). A quick update then, a drink and I will be out on the road again. One more week!

6 years agoPhotos and updates from this week. Tuesday morning and it should have been a long 16 mile session but I was struggling. My lovely mum trying to encourage me out of bed with a Facebook message to all that she knows. However I did get up and do at least 6 miles up to Cardiff shopping centre and back to Cardiff Bay! it is getting harder but only a week to go now
