Hi everyone My name is emmalou linford i am a paediatric student nurse currently in my second year at university. Next year i must complete an alternative placement and for this i would like to travel to Iloilo in the philippines to carry out a 2-3 week practice placement. This is something i would love to do whilst studying because it is not something i would ever get to do again. i would love to experience different takes on health care and see what different countries do to care for children and their families and what other diseases affect children. I would also love to experience the culture and care of a different country. this is not something the university funds and i therefore

have to fund this myself i am looking into ways to raise the funds but this is my first step. Many thanks for reading my story. X
