Colchester Zoo Operating Fund

Colchester Zoo and its charity Action for the Wild rely on the income made from annual memberships, ticket sales, secondary spend in our retail and catering outlets as well as animal experiences and donations. Colchester Zoo are about protecting wildlife for the next generation and caring for the world’s environments. Which is done with the continued support of guests, members and donors.

The daily running costs of the zoo is £25,479 plus veterinary care bills and other unexpected expenses. Despite the zoo closure the Animal Care Team are vital to continue to deliver an excellent level of care to all of the animals.

Elisha love animals , especially tigers and tortoises , and is looking forward to when she can visit the zoo again , but when she heard the zoo may not open again due to the high cost of keeping the animals feed and healthy , she decided she wanted to raise some money for colchester Zoo.

Everyday for the next ten days Elisha will do 100 laps on her scooter outside her house in return she hope people will be able to donate some money to support colchester zoo.

I think most of us have many happy memories of visiting colchester zoo over the years. It will a massive shame to loose such an amazing place . If you can please donate or share this just given page to as many people as you can .
