Story
Children living in underdeveloped countries suffer in ways that none of us could ever imagine. Ujamaa is the name of the school I intend to work for, and is just one of countless schools in Africa accommodating students burdened with poverty, sickness, and, most commonly, the loss of their parents. The school itself is struggling to care for their children, being heavily understaffed and in need of financial support, it needs our help to continue with its magnificent work. Working with these children would bring me the greatest pleasure; knowing that I have made a difference in their education, and potentially their futures. With my family being born and bred in Tanzania, I feel an especially close connection to this cause. However, the excessive cost of the trip means I cannot volunteer without sponsors. Every donation made will be greatly appreciated, and regardless of the amount, you will be getting me once step closer to helping them. Thank you all for your support.
