Just one week to go before we withdraw the funds and go purchase tents and sleeping bags. Our delivery is taking place on 8th December and there’s one space in the car if anyone wants to join!

It’s 8am and we are walking to the shop to start cutting bread and sorting pastries. We usually fill at least 8 big boxes. We load four boxes of bananas. We brew six big urns of tea to take with us and count out at least 30 blankets. This process is repeated every morning without fail thanks to Salam. P.S. donate 🙏🏼

Yesterday we stood watching the CRS confiscating tents from a group of Afghan men and boys. They sent six riot vans for people who are entirely peaceful - they even brought their tents to the edge of their campsite to avoid trouble with the officers and show intention of compliance. The response to the refugee crisis is out of touch with the reality.
