Our lovely junior respiratory ward sister Tori Butler’s little three and a half year old girl Felicity was admitted yesterday to Nottingham neurology oncology ward and is receiving treatment.

I would like to raise some money to go to support her during this really tough time for her and her family. To try to relieve some of the financial strain during this period. To allow them to travel so they can be with both children during the tough times ahead. pay for accommodation and food and general supplies. i appreciate times are hard for a lot of families at the moment however for their little family life just got a little harder. please find it in your hearts to help one of the loveliest of colleagues and friends x

To all that we have not been able to contact personally. Please forgive us, it has been a very overwhelming day and we can only break this news so many times. For those that don't know, we have been in Nottingham hospital with Felicity for investigations into a brain tumour found on Wednesday. Today we had news that we did not want to even consider. She has been diagnosed with DIPG in her brain stem. She can have radiotherapy in the next few weeks which will greatly help her symptoms. Prognosis is 9-12 months and we are going to make it spectacular! We all want to thank you all for the love, messages and support. We may not be able to respond to each message individually but please know that we appreciate every message. It gives us strength to face each moment. Our strong, beautiful, clever, stubborn 3 year old is loved by many and we can feel that surround us in the worst time of our lives. Again, thank you all.
