Story
Hello! My name is Elizabeth and I have been offered a place to study Medicine at university this September.
I am a young woman with big dreams of becoming a surgeon and improving the quality of life for patients.
As you would imagine, I am thrilled and very grateful to have been offered an opportunity to follow my dreams. However, my mum had a stroke around the time of my application and I can no longer balance working to save for university and her full-time care. I had planned to save some money and apply for bank loans to at least get me through the first two years but this is no longer realistic.
The total cost for my tuition is £46,250 (£9,250 per year). I will have to self-fund this degree as I previously studied Biochemistry and therefore cannot recieve government funding. I would be so grateful if you could help me raise money to fund my dream course! Every little donation will help :)
Thank you for taking the time out to read my story!
