During Covid, St Mary's Church began streaming services online. This included funerals where numbers were limited and enabled people to still be a part of the service. The Summer fundraiser is partly to raise money towards updating technology within the church to enable continuation and enhance the streaming of various services. Also 50% of money raised will be presented to Peterborough Samaritans when the Summer fundraiser concludes.

We are planning to walk the equivalent distance of St Oswalds way long distance path which goes from Holy Island to Heavenfield across Northumberland and is a total of 97 miles.

We begin on Thursday 5th August which marks St Oswalds day in the church calendar and will walk the distance locally (although we have also walked parts of St Oswald way in the last few weeks)
