Hi I'm Lizzie Wood and have just completed my music degree at the University of Birmingham. In the next academic year I am going to be serving as a missionary for NET ministries Ireland. The mission statement for NET is to encourage young people to love Jesus and embrace the life of Church and this is achieved through the proclamation of the Gospel through a personal witness of faith, inviting young people to live for Christ, the formation of young people in Christian character through the study and practice of faith and the equipping of young adults with the ministry skills needed for evangelisation. After 6 weeks of training I will be moving around the country, either on a local or travelling team working with schools and parishes in evangelising young people. I believe this project with both help the people that NET ministries works with but will also give myself time to deepen in faith.
