as many of us football parents know, local teams rely on fundraising for kits, balls and referees as any other help is rare. I am planning to do a sponsored swim to raise some capital for these lads to keep going and keep them in all they need to do it.

I am planning on doing 5 miles in 5 hours at Loftus Leisure Centre between Christmas and New Year . I would like to raise £500. However, I am hoping to raise more than this as anything over this amount will go to the "PINK LADIES" as either a donation or to help with the costs associated with "PINKFIELDS" and Cancer Research.

I feel these are 2 worthy causes, one local and one national who can both really benefit from all your help.

However small, any donation will be greatly received.
