Story

As many of you now know, 18 months ago, Ella-Rose was diagnosed with SMA Type 1. We have all watched in awe at the way this happy little girl has overcome the original horrifying prognosis and defied all the odds, by not only neimg with us today, but making unbelievable progress everyday.

Family & friends have watched Leah and Matt cope in a situation, which most would crumble. And they haven’t just coped - they have done everything they can to keep Ella alive ans thriving - even travelling to Paris & Newcastle against lesser aware doctors’ advice, for lifesaving treatment. And they couldn’t have done this without the support of those around them - those that donated last time.

Ella is now in need of even more bespoke equipment that will hopefully keep driving her progress forward. A hospital bed at home, now Ella is growing, will help her learn to sit without help, and will give her more independence. Also a suit that is designed to support Ella’s bones & muscles as they grow. And finally-Ella’s bespoke pushchair/wheelchair does not come with a rain cover, and with winter looming, this is a real necessity. But at £300 for this alone, these items because of their bespoke design, do not come cheap.

Any help you can offer towards these items, will be hugely appreciated!!!
