Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Personally, I know survivors and battlers and women who have lost the good fight. With 1 in 8 women developing breast cancer in their lifetime, you will too.
So let's raise funds for breast cancer support and research.
Did you know?
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK, one person is diagnosed every 10 minutes.
1 in 8 women in the UK will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. And 1 in 870 men.
Breast cancer is extremely rare among women under 25 – there are fewer than 25 cases a year in the UK. But almost 1,000 women under 35 are diagnosed annually, and that figure leaps to 5,600 for women at 45 and 8,000 for women under 50!
Almost 8 in 10 women survive breast cancer for 10 years or more.
But nearly 20% of women and men are diagnosed too late.
Every year around 11,400 people die from breast cancer in the UK.
We're raising funds to help advance breast cancer support with funds raised going to Breast Cancer Haven.
Anyone can come to a Breast Cancer Haven, there are no geographical restrictions and no need for a doctor's referral or diagnosis – just call the Hereford centre (our nearest) on 01432 361061 to book an appointment.
