Story

Our Scout Group (4th Morpeth) has grown dramatically over the last ten years. We are now desperately in need of additional HQ space so we can continue to deliver a wide range of indoor activities to our 250+ Beavers, Cubs and Scouts and increase our storage capacity for kit and equipment.

We have ambitious plans to extend our current HQ provision and as our regular indoor based fundraising activities(coffee mornings, bag packs and Christmas post) have taken a bit of a battering from Covid, to try and generate some much needed funds we are heading to the great outdoors...

Eight of us (a mix of leaders and parents) are taking on the challenge of running the 70 miles of Hadrian's Wall on Saturday 19th June . We are running the distance as a relay as two teams of four.

Here's a bit more detail generally ...and Here's our route

Each team member runs one leg (distances vary from 12-17 miles) with the whole team running the last leg (9 miles) together.

We are asking the 250+ members of our group to run with us 'virtually' in some way and each section (beavers, cubs and scouts) has set a running challenge in the weeks leading up to our run to help raise funds too. Please show your support for them by donating to us.
