Story

Hi folks, over 4 years ago I started work on improving the Old Ghost Station of Nast Hyde Halt on the Alban Way. The good Local People and many passers by have supported me from the start till 'almost' finished! However as the old Halt improves...sadly the Children's Playground continues to decline...recently seeing part of it removed due to it being 'no longer fit for use'.
Local Ellenbrook residents have called upon support from every corner in order to help raise funds to get improvement work underway and they most definitely have my full support which is why I'm getting the ball rolling with this 'Just Giving' page.
The Ellenbrook Area Residence Association (EARA) have also jumped on board and have found a couple of possible avenues to venture down in order to contribute to the overall amount needed which stands at around £94000. This includes an Adult Gym, Basketball Hoop and new football goals along with new benches too!
The Hatfield Town Council and various Councillors are looking into areas where funds can be gained for an exciting new Playground but they can't reach the full amount needed which is why we've offered to help.
You can clearly see how 'People Power' has transformed our lovely sleepy Ghost Station so please join me in turning the old Playground around too for the enjoyment and fun of Families and Children for many years to come!
If you were thinking of donating to the Nast Hyde Halt project this year ...please place your donation here instead and lets add even more magic to our once forgotten area...together we can work wonders so lets get stuck in !!!!
From Mike, EARA and all the Local Families and Children we say a MASSIVE thank you for any support you can give...BIG or small.
