My name is Elle Smith. I have been a full time artist now for nearly 3 years. I work around my young family, and 3 children. I produce watercolour paintings of a variety of animals, pets and loves ones, which I have done since getting my degree from the London art institute in 2002.

I have sold to over 25 countries including Korea Israel, Canada, France, USA, Italy, Barbados, Netherlands and many more besides. I have recently added greeting cards, mugs, notebooks and other merchandise to my range to further widen my market and prospective audience.
At present I produce new work daily in my home, my front room,which is also our main family room. It is bright and light and airy, although is hard to distinguish and separate my work station from the children's play space.
Currently we are not in a position to move to anywhere larger, however, are very blessed with ample space to convert into more useful ones!
My absolute dream is to convert the loft into a fully functioning, bright and airy work space where I can produce new pieces in my own dedicated space.
It would mean I can leave paints and pots and paper where I know it will not have little fingers interfering with It!!
I know many people who thankfully are in many trades and would be able to source a lot of what is required at a reasonable price.
I am very hands on and want to be fully involved in the development plans myself! I want to make it as close to how I can see it in my mind as I can!
It is my goal to ask as many people as possible to donate just £1 towards my project!! And see how, if at all possible, this dream for a full time mum, artist, and small business owner, could become a reality!
