Manchester's homeless population is striking, and particularly as the days get colder it is important that we help out people affected by homelessness as much as possible. Greater Together Manchester night shelter is an organisation that provides a safe place to sleep for men in Manchester who have fallen on hard times.
As a photography project I want to be able to buy a set of disposable cameras to give to the guests so they can use them to depict Manchester or anything they find of interest. With enough funding we will be able to have the photos developed and put together a selection of the best photos.
Art is a wonderful way to express yourself and I think it can help anybody (artist or audience) learn a lot about themselves or their surroundings.
If you can spare any money at all it would be really appreciated!!! If this works out I will be able to share the product of this project with everyone :-)
